WVSU unveils new research and extension building

One of the highlights of  2016 is the inauguration of West Visayas State University's new four-storey Research and Extension Building (Benigno Aquino Hall). To mark the event, a ribbon cutting  and unveiling of marker ceremony was held last October 30, 2016 and was attended by university officials headed by  Dr. Luis M. Sorolla. Prior to the ceremony, a holy mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Joel Eslabra was held at the building's plenary hall which was also the venue of WESVARRDEC's techno forum exhibit. Immediately after the holy mass, a brief groundbreaking ceremony of WVSU's Science Research Building was held adjacent to the new building. The Science Research Building is poised to be constructed in the upcoming months and will exclusively house the university's various laboratories and innovation facilities.
