West Visayas State University-Calinog Campus in partnership with Department of Education-Schools Division of Iloilo will be launching "Action Research Proposal Writing Manual," a research-based IEC material on December 22, 2023 at J7 Hotel in Bolilao, Mandurriao, Iloilo City. Through the ARTeach extension project of WVSU-Calinog Campus, the manual was developed from a series of consultations with education experts as a guide for researchers on how to write action research proposals. Such material is in consonance with DepEd memorandum No. 648 which mandates the adoption of appraisal tools for research proposals and completed research outputs in Region 6.
After the book launching, a workshop will be conducted on how to utilize the manual for both DepEd and WVSU end-users. Through the workshop, it is expected that the participants will develop a keen appreciation and utilization of the manual in the conduct of action research and extension activities.
Expected to attend the book launch and workshop activity are DepEd superintendents, assistant superintendents, supervisors and principals as well as research and extension officials from West Visayas State University.
