A surprising assortment of ethno-culinary discoveries and innovations awaited guests and visitors during the 68th Foundation Day and 6th TIRAW Food Festival held last October 7, 2019 at WVSU-CAF Food Processing Center in Lambunao Campus, Iloilo. TIRAW stands for Traditional and Indigenized Recipes at West. "Tiraw" is also a vernacular word for "taste." The food festival highlighted and showcased indigenous and ethnic ingredients native to Iloilo province as well as Western Visayan cooking techniques.
