Stories from the Field: An Extension Colloquium set on Dec 7 & 10, 2021


The University Extension and Development Center is spearheading the conduct of a year-end presentation  of West Visayas State University's research-based, impact-driven documentation of  extension programs and projects through a 2-day online event dubbed " Stories from the Field: An Extension Colloquium. Fourteen unpublished papers will be presented  by extension coordinators and program leaders from the university's colleges and campuses. The papers will be judged according to the following areas: management and control systems, external linkage and networking, and organizational management and support services. 

Dr. Rowena DT. Baconguis, Dean of University of the Philippines Los Banos College of Public Affairs and Development, Professor 12 and UP Scientist II will be the keynote speaker. She will be sharing insights and experiences on extension research questions for common extension interventions.

The papers will be judged by a panel of experts composed of Dr. Ma. Lulu L. Loyola, Dr. Lourdes N. Morano and Dr. Elvira L. Arellano, retired professors from West Visayas State University with combined expertise in research and extension, psychology, education and mathematics. The papers presented in this activity will be published in the first ever UEDC Extension Journal scheduled for publication during the first quarter of 2022.
