CON Cares for Typhoon Agaton victims in Sara, Iloilo

CON CARES for Typhoon Agaton Victims in Sara, Iloilo has served 8 barangays, 295 adults and 45 children with the help of 43 Abyan Youth Volunteers, BFP Sara Fire Station personnel, Sara LGU led by Hon. Mayor Aying, and the Sara DRRMO last April 16, 2022 at Barangay Anoring Covered Gym. 

This activity is part of the WVSU Unified Extension Program: Project Healthy Sara spearheaded by the WVSU College of Nursing. Health education classes on illness prevention after flood/typhoon and proper sanitation/hygiene practices were conducted as well as the distribution of IEC materials, healthy snacks, hygiene kits, food packs, and school materials for school children. 

The WVSU-College of Nursing is grateful to all benevolent donors, and to the selfless people who extended their assistance to the heart-warming endeavor - CON faculty, staff and students, Nursing Student Council, WVSU administration, UEDC, WVSU Pototan and Calinog campuses, alumni of the CON, friends of the CON, WVSU community, PTA of the CON and to all those who have generously shared their blessings to the Saranhons.
