West Visayas State University-College of Nursing garnered 1st Runner Up Award for Best Video Documentary of the Let's PITCH-In Program and Prof. Sheila P. Beliran won the Best Poster Award (Champion) for CON Cares Mandurriao: Stories from the Field (Kristyano nga Kabalaka sa mga Kubos) during the 11th PASUC VI-EMC Regional Extension Symposium and General Assembly held last November 8-10, 2022 at SUNN Hotel, Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology, Sagay City in Negros Occidental.
The theme of the regional symposium and general assembly was "Advancing the Role of Extension Implementers amidst Adversities towards Sustainable Development." The symposium is the first face-to-face symposium in the region after the COVID-19 pandemic. PASUC VI-EMC also elected a new set of officers and Dr. Ricky P. Becodo, UEDC Director and Vice-President of PASUC VI-EMC was chosen as president for FY 2022-2023 succeeding Dr. Adrienne D. Velos, Director of Extension Services Division of Iloilo Science and Technology University. (MCBA)
