Kadiwa sa West to launch during University Days 2025

Bring your bayongs or eco-bags this January 27, 2025 for the opening of the first monthly Kadiwa sa WVSU, a farmer's market presented by the Department of Agriculture-Western Visayas in collaboration with West Visayas State University. Kadiwa sa WVSU promises to be a unique and convenient farm-to-table market experience for the WVSU community and nearby barangays. Locally grown, high-value upland fruits and vegetables as well as small batch handmade food products will be available for sale. This marketing platform will benefit local farmers' cooperatives and people's organizations seeking to mutually enhance accessibility to fresh agricultural products while promoting the health and well-being of the WVSU community.

The Kadiwa sa WVSU farm stand will be located at the Rizal Hall grounds/lobby from January 27-31 during the the University Week 2025 Exhibits. Thereafter, the activity will be regularly held once a month on a given schedule.
