In line with West Visayas State University's vision to become a premier research university, the University Extension and Development Center will conduct a Training-Workshop on Research-Based Extension Planning on February 26-28, 2020 at the Research and Extension Building in West Visayas State University. The activity aims to provide program and project leaders with knowledge and skills on how to craft project proposals that are anchored on actual and expressed community needs and gaps identified through research (situation analysis and participatory rural community appraisal) as well as knowledge products, technologies and processes generated from faculty researches. At the end of the workshop, the participants are required to submit fundable proposals that are research- based.
